🔍 - Most recently, in my role at Element AI, as an Applied Research Scientist, I have been helping R&D departments of client companies with Machine Learning challenges to structure their experimentation workflow and try out innovative approaches.

🌏 - I have been in charge of clients in varied locations including South Korea, Japan, Canada and Singapore.
📚 - My background is in Computer Vision and Recommender Systems.

💄 - Before, I was the first Data Scientist hire of Sephora SEA. There, I tackled quantitative business challenges by interacting with data engineers, design researchers and internal stakeholders; and by building adequate machine learning production systems.
🦁 - I come from France and I am based in Singapore.
Coming from an Applied Mathematics background, I have a fond interest for cutting-edge research in ML. When I dissect a paper, I like to understand the mathematical formulation of data transformations and loss functions, and build my intuition around why an algorithm works. I would consider myself a generalist, even though I have a preference to when it comes to images.
However, what excites me even more is to build reliable data-driven services that solve a problem.
I love to interact with stakeholders from different backgrounds and going through the process of formalising what could be tackled with ML. I find great satisfaction whenever I can socialise ML concepts. I plan projects for velocity while keeping in sight scalability and business end goals.
I have full proficiency in Python 🐍 and major libraries. My favourite ones include tensorflow, pytorch, pytorch lightning, sklearn, flask, pytest, plotly, numpy, pandas, scipy.
Besides, I never install dependencies locally and always manage environments with docker, docker-compose 🐳
I also recently got drawn into frontend development with HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, with the objective of better understanding web applications and what constitutes a great user experience.
Finally, I dedicate my Saturday afternoons to Code in the Community as a teaching instructor.
